I was surprisingly not too nervous to present my pecha kucha to the cohort. I think it went very well and I only went over by 20 seconds. It was really nice to be back at uni and see my peers, it made me miss being on campus seeing friendly faces everyday. I enjoy the comfort of being a student at uni.
It was really interesting to discover what placements other people were doing from other courses. There was a great variety of workplaces. It was also comforting to hear that other students have also struggled with settling into DPS and are not entirely satisfied with their placements. It made me feel less alone.
One thing I think I could improve on for next time is keeping my slides more concise by using less text and larger images. However, I think I did well and communicated clearly and effectively, keeping the audience engaged with the design of my slides.
